A few days ago, if the firmware was still on the 2023 version and had not been updated, the device might have repeatedly rebooted until it reset.
This issue has now been resolved, and there is no need to update the product’s firmware.
This page is intended for users who wish to update their set-top box firmware.
6125-Android 11.0
Use a Micro SD card to update the box firmware to version update-A11-2026-05-27-09-27. This version is still Android 12.
You can also continue using a Micro SD card to upgrade to version update-A13-2026-04-03-11-03-ucloud, which is Android 13 and will not cause a reboot.
6125-Android 12.0
Use a Micro SD card to update the box firmware to version update-A12-2026-05-26-18-20. This version is still Android 12, but it no longer reboots.
You can also continue using a Micro SD card to upgrade to version update-A13-2026-01-07-20-56-ucloud, which is Android 13 and will not cause a reboot.
6125-Android 13.0
Directly upgrade to version update-A13-2026-01-07-20-56-ucloud
UCloud which includes a feature similar to eSIM, allowing you to access the internet by paying a fee without the need for a physical SIM card.
UCloud provides services only in the following countries/regions. If you are not located in one of these areas, please do not upgrade to this version. (See the article for the list of countries/regions.)
How to check the version number:
Before CarlinKit Tbox reboots, disconnect it from the network (remove the SIM card or turn off the Wi-Fi connected to the Tbox). Once disconnected, CarlinKit Tbox will not reboot.
Then go to Settings > Version > Tbox Version to check.

Upgrade Instructions:
Rename the downloaded firmware file to “update” (keep the .zip format) and place it in the root directory of the memory card (NTFS-formatted memory cards are not supported), as shown in P1.
Insert the memory card into the box. An upgrade prompt will appear on the car’s screen; simply tap “Confirm,” as shown in P2.
